MACEDON. Dium. Hadrian, 117-138. Diassarion (Bronze, 22 mm, 5.20 g, 6 h). IMP CAES HADRIANO AVG OLYMPIO Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Hadrian to right. Rev. CIL IVL AVG DIENSIS / D - D Athena ständig front, head left, holding patera in right hand and spear in left; to left at feet owl; to right, coiled serpent. RPC III 614 corr. (obverse legend). Extremely rare and with an interesting obverse legend. Minor scratch and some adjustment mark on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
